Celebrity Ascent
The newest ship in Celebrity Cruises' Edge class, the Celebrity Ascent brings elegance, innovation, and serenity to its guests. During the warm weather months, she is docked in the Mediterranean, amid a world of history and culture as well as magnificent natural beauty. During the colder months, she moves west to the Caribbean, with its own picturesque islands and beaches. Like her sister ships in the Edge class, the Ascent features the cantilevered floating Magic Carpet. Deck 15 brings nature's beauty to the sea with a Rooftop Garden and for suite guests, Deck 17 offers The Retreat private sundeck. Fabulous restaurants abound on Celebrity Ascent, including Chef Daniel Boulud's culinary journey Le Voyage.
What to Expect
Setting sail for the first time in December 2023, Celebrity Ascent is the fourth ship in the Edge class. At double occupancy, she accommodates 3260 guests. While children are welcome and there is a children's program called Camp At Sea, Celebrity's fleet has a more adult-friendly vibe than sister cruise line Royal Caribbean. The waterslides and theme park-style attractions found on Contemporary cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, Carnival, MSC, and Norwegian are absent from Premium cruise lines such as Celebrity, Princess, and Holland America. Still, Celebrity offers family-friendly shore excursions and the restaurant La Petit Chef will delight kids and adults alike with animation right on the dining table!

The Grand Plaza
An elegant and stunning three-story plaza is the heart of the Celebrity Ascent. At the center Martini Bar, craft cocktails and astonishing showmanship make for a beverage experience like no other. If a pint of beer is what you crave, head to the Craft Social Bar, also in the Grand Plaza.
The Magic Carpet
This floating platform is the signature feature of Celebrity Edge class ships. Though the Magic Carpet calls the Resort Deck (Deck 14) home, it floats up and down the ship and provides al fresco dining and magnificent ocean views.
The Retreat Sundeck
ISuite guests have an outdoor oasis to call their own. The Retreat Sundeck is located in Deck 17 comes with a pool, hot tubs, loungers, a bar, and Retreat Attendants to bring your drinks, towels, or whatever else you may need. Elevate your vacation with a stay at The Retreat.
Rooftop Garden
Featuring real plants and a serene setting, Celebrity Ascent's Rooftop Garden is another awesome feature of the Edge class ships. With an attractive balance of sun and shade, the Rooftop Garden is a great spot to relax after a day at shore. If you're hungry, the Rooftop Garden Grill, with its elevated take on casual grill fare, is nearby.
