This Month's Featured Ship

Carnival Jubilee
The Jubilee took its maiden voyage in December 2023 as the third ship in Carnival's Excel class. She can hold over 5,000 guests, has 15 passenger decks, and is the largest Carnival cruise ship to date. She is powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), a clean-burning fuel which is more environmentally-friendly than traditional fuels. Excel class ships were the first to feature a roller coaster at sea. The Jubilee is home ported in Galveston and focuses on Western Caribbean itineraries, with select sailings to the Bahamas.
The Jubilee, like her Excel class predecessors, The Mardi Gras and the Celebration, is divided into six themed zones: Grand Central, Currents, The Shores, Summer Landing, Lido, and The Ultimate Playground. For guests who want to kick back and relax, there is an adults-only retreat called Serenity
What to Expect
Carnival is know for its "Fun Ships" and the Jubilee is no exception. Expect lots of families with children of all ages, especially during the summer and school holidays. The atmosphere is lively and festive and the prices are affordable to budget-conscious cruisers. The Jubilee sails to the Caribbean year-round, so bring plenty of sunscreen!
Onboard Hotspots

The First Roller Coaster at Sea
Imagine riding a roller coaster on a cruise ship! Get ready to Bolt around the largest Water Works in the Carnival fleet on the innovative roller coaster that debuted on the Carnival Mardi Gras in 2021. Hold on tight and enjoy the ride!

The Atrium
Located, appropriately, in the Grand Central zone, the expansive Atrium has a multi-story window wall to take in the ocean view. That is, when the 14-foot LED screens aren't putting on a show. Stop by the Grand View bar for a drink and take in the festivities.

What's Cookin'?
Cook up some fun while sharpening your culinary skills in Carnival Kitchen, featuring onboard cooking classes. If you're a foodie, this could be a highlight of your cruise! Reservations are required and the earlier you can book them, the better.

Escape to Serenity
Once the kids are having fun and making new friends at Camp Ocean, head on over to the Adults-Only retreat, Serenity, on Deck 18 Forward. Featuring a pool, daybeds, hammocks and loungers, the Serenity Retreat is the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of the livelier venues on the ship

The Best Bar Under the Sea
The Golden Mermaid bar brings glitz, glamour, and inventive cocktails to the Jubilee. One of many bars and lounges onboard, The Golden Mermaid is in the Currents zone and is a great place to grab a drink before heading to nearby restaurants like Emeril's 717 Bistro.

Turn On The Waterworks
What's a Fun Ship without an onboard aqua park? The Jubilee's Water Works has three waterslides, two mini-slides and a water bucket that soaks cruisers when they least expect it. It's the perfect cure for a hot summer day.
